4g LTE iPad Rumors

It has been speculated that the launch by Verizon of the CDMA iPhone earlier this year may be the beginning of a push by the company towards introduction of an 4g LTE iPad in 2011.
This would make sense given Verizon's aggressive roll out of their 4G LTE service nationwide. However, they are not the only company that's pursuing this technology in the US. The leak of the latest LTE road map from AT&T also offers some clues into the future of LTE-based iOS devices. During CES this year, AT&T announced that they would accelerate their deployment of LTE technology this year. Thanks to LulzSec's work, it's now known that AT&T has plans to include Apple devices in their upcoming LTE tests at the end of 2011. This includes a speed test with the iPad, netbooks and dongles.
